Texvor. A vortex spins as a mass of paint, ink, and fibres, pulling objects into its empty centre, feeding itself from the outside. It moves so quickly that everything consumed becomes a conical surface—a painting that wraps around its base. Here is a snapshot of the moment of spin: circular movement changes into frontal; the left side shifts to the right and the right to the left. Sharp digital lines hold rough, gestural brushstrokes within a rigid structure so tight that the ink seeps through. Yet, once you connect the loose ends and fold the scarf, closing the circuit of the vortex, it starts to swirl again. The painting is activated—twisting around your body, around itself, the vortex happens on your shoulders. VP
